I’m a computational neuroscientist at the Francis Crick Institute in London, UK. My research is focused on understanding sensory systems as performing probabilistic inference.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

I feel privileged to work in such a fascinating field, and on this site, I try to share some of that excitement. On my blog, Lateral Excitation<\/a> you’ll find my notes on various topics related to computational neuroscience and machine learning, including expository pieces, reviews of journal articles, and notes from my day-to-day research. On the Projects<\/a> page you’ll find a list of my current and past research projects. On my YouTube channel<\/a>, I’ve mainly been reading through Bishop’s 2006 classic “Pattern Recognition and Machine Learning.” There are also some expository videos on related topics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
